Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. The Slot Technician will provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot machines.

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
• Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information
• Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices
• Rebuild parts/equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned
• Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
• Ensure that all slot/storage areas are clean and organized
• Responsible for the set-up and testing new slot product
• Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position
• Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly
• Able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Desired Skill Set:

• 1 year experience as a technician (slot, electrical, mechanical, etc)
• Experience with preventative maintenance, trouble shooting, and/or corrective repair
• Must be able/willing to obtain a Nevada Gaming License before start date
• Strong customer facing experience
• Familiarity with basic tools (screwdriver, wrench, plyers)

Compensation:

$ 20/hr to $24.00/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
